On the free version, each sale earns you about £3. With the paid version, you set your own prices and keep uncapped profits. In both cases, your designs are showcased alongside our creative community. What is this? This is a prototype app for generating custom t-shirt designs using AI. (If you're the CEO of Primark please email me).
It's designed to help you create unique designs that can be sold on Etsy, with a focus on an online crowd sourced community and collaboration.
Why?
Honestly, I wanted to build something that would help get my name out there a bit and showcase what some of the things I can do.
Also, now anyone—regardless of their background—can create some cool t-shirts and earn from their designs.
I guess if you want some waffle... This app is about democratising design creation, giving people without traditional design skills a chance to participate in the Etsy marketplace.
How it works: This app uses AI to generate designs, titles, descriptions, and tags based on your prompts.
It uploads your designs — credited with your name and location — to a crowd-sourced Etsy shop.
If someone places an order, it's sent to a supplier who prints and ships the item.
If your design sells, you receive a cut of the sale price (minus POD, AI and Etsy fees), which works out at about £3 per sale.
You can create a design using the form on the home page. Just provide a design brief and optionally upload a reference image.
You can also select a colour palette from those available via our print suppliers.
Based on your input, the app will generate a design and upload it to the shop with proper attribution.
T-shirts may be removed if they don't adhere to Etsy's T&C's, or are low quality.
Important: This app is self-funded. I'm currently covering all costs using my personal credit card,
so there are limits to help manage expenses:
- You can create 2 designs per day.
- A total of 10 design slots are available per 24-hour period.
If your design sells, the revenue split will be sent to the email associated with your submission.
